Hello, everyone,
As the days grow cooler and the holiday season approaches, we find ourselves reflecting on the year behind us while looking ahead with excitement to new commitments, fresh resolutions, and all that 2027 may bring.
Our club has been working diligently to identify members who are willing to step into leadership and service roles. These volunteers will help guide us forward while bringing fresh ideas, renewed energy, and a shared commitment to the community we value so deeply.
This is also the perfect time to begin preparing for the 2027 Monster Cookie Metric Century ride, one of the special traditions that brings our cycling community together.
Before the year ends, we hope you will join us for one more in-person gathering: our November Dinner, Swap Meet, Election Results, and Guest Speakers program. We will share a meal and favorite holiday dishes, hear the remarkable story of two longtime members, exchange cycling stories and gear, and enjoy raffle prizes that you can keep or pass along as holiday gifts.
Please take a moment to use the voting link and the separate sign-up link to participate. The voting window is brief, only six days, so please cast your vote promptly. We must receive votes from at least 20% of our membership; otherwise, voting will take place in person.

There is so much to look forward to in the final two months of the year, and your presence will make these moments even more meaningful.
Thank you for the time, talent, enthusiasm, and friendship you continue to share with our club. I look forward to celebrating with you in November and to riding together into a bright and rewarding 2027.
Warmly,
Tim Newman
Club President
